Its the only thing in common between these two systems.
So far I have this issue on one of my desktops and a customers brand new desktop and the only thing I can assume is the Anniversary Update has struck again. Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. I even went as far as trying a USB DVD External Drive and Device manager sees it, knows what it is, but throws the Yellow explanation mark over it and gives the same error as the internal DVD. YES i have googled, I have followed Microsoft's 4 different resolutions in trying to resolve this but nothing is working.
