Purging them completely seems like the only option I have left.
Thanks in advance and yes, I've tried using the reddit search as well as google and I still havent found a surefire way to either fix the mods or purge them completely. The very beginning where i choose what DLC and game mode and such clearly says, "You can access LW Toolbox after campaign starts." But it doesnt show up during Gatecrasher or at the anthill afterwards. I'm not sure what else is broken, since I'm trying to start a new campaign and they just wont show up. Mods I know for a fact arent working are LW Toolbox and numerical health. Could some one kindly point me in the right direction? Because I would love to spend the rest of my saturday evening redownloading all my mods. So I made this small script to do it for me: Go to subscribed items for CS in Steam community on Google chrome or other web browser with scripting console. I have no clue where or what folder to delete. I wanted to start a new game with all new mods but there was no easy way to unsub from all workshop items on Steam. So, I feel like this is my only option left. Is there a way to rid my xcom of all mods? I've googled a bit but I've read that unsubscribing doesnt delete the mods from my game folder. I've tried multiple tricks: unsubscribe, resubscribe, verify game data, ya know, all that fun stuff. Thanks again to every one who offered advice. Everything, as far as I know, is working perfectly now. Lost my character pool but I wasnt too concerned about that. EDIT UPDATE: /u/Harlequin565 's advice worked perfectly.
